Role Overview

As a Merchandiser at RONA, you will play a vital role in enhancing product presentation and maintaining visual standards that lead to a memorable shopping experience. Your technical skills will be leveraged through challenging and engaging tasks in a fast-paced retail setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up and take down displays based on seasonal shifts, delivery schedules, and stock availability
  • Verify that merchandise arrangements align with store planograms and visual guidelines
  • Manage inventory on shelves, ensuring correct price tag placement and product fronting
  • Welcome customers courteously and direct them to team members for specialized assistance
  • Maintain clean, accessible aisles to facilitate smooth customer movement
  • Perform other duties essential to store efficiency

Candidate Profile

  • Familiarity with fundamental hand tools such as drills, saws, and other equipment preferred
  • Strong prioritization skills to manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Capability to move heavy items using suitable handling equipment
  • Forklift operation experience is advantageous
  • Competence in using web-based software to execute tasks
  • Basic arithmetic skills for practical calculations
  • Availability to work Monday to Friday from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m.
