Role Overview

As a Merchandise Associate, you will work directly under store management to manage merchandise receipt, organization, and stocking. Your tasks include verifying incoming goods, pricing, preparing transfers, maintaining backstore order, and supporting team efforts while delivering excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Organize, receive, and verify merchandise shipments while identifying discrepancies promptly.
• Ensure accurate pricing of all products and amend any labeling errors.
• Prepare products swiftly for transfer to other stores or distribution centers.
• Efficiently stock merchandise on the sales floor.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the backstore area.
• Deliver outstanding customer service experiences.
• Adhere to policies and procedures established by head office departments with guidance provided.
• Assist the team with additional tasks as necessary.

Candidate Profile

• Enjoy engaging in physical labor, including lifting heavy merchandise without difficulty.
• Exhibit strong organizational skills with an efficient, methodical, autonomous, and resourceful working style.
• Previous experience handling goods is advantageous.
• Flexible to work during holidays and extend hours in peak periods based on availability.
