Job description
Overview
The Medical Manager role, aligned with the overarching product strategy, serves as a pivotal scientific liaison responsible for developing, implementing, and managing Medical Affairs plans within the assigned Therapy Area. This position demands active and compliant communication with customers, contributing scientific expertise, aiding in the design and management of clinical research, and fostering educational engagements with Medical Experts and regulatory bodies.
Key Duties
- Provide precise, compliant, and prompt responses to medical inquiries, including preparation of standardized response materials when necessary.
- Offer scientific and medical contributions to clinical trials and research projects, participating from initiation through oversight within the therapy domain.
- Assist local initiatives aimed at evidence generation, encompassing non-interventional and investigator-led studies.
- Develop scientific collaborations across the disease continuum by engaging with medical experts, supporting academic publications, and facilitating data generation.
- Review and authorize medical content and promotional materials ensuring compliance with both local and global regulatory standards.
- Disseminate valuable medical insights to multidisciplinary teams including Pharmacovigilance, Regulatory Affairs, Market Access, Quality, and Commercial departments.
- Engage approximately equally (50%) in external stakeholder interaction and internal office-based responsibilities.
Qualifications and Competencies
- Graduate degree in MD, PharmD, or PhD discipline.
- At least two years of experience in Medical Affairs within the pharmaceutical sector; prior Neuroscience exposure is advantageous.
- Demonstrated ability to establish trustworthy relationships with healthcare professionals and key opinion leaders.
- Comprehensive knowledge of clinical research methodologies, evidence development, and the dynamic therapeutic environment.
- Capability to translate scientific findings into actionable insights shared across functional teams.
- Proficiency with digital platforms and data analytics to enhance stakeholder engagement, insight collection, and informed decision-making.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and teamwork skills within matrix organizational structures.
- Fluent in Arabic and English languages.
