About the Role
Jones Radiology is looking to hire several Medical Imaging Assistants primarily based in Mount Barker, with some travel to central Adelaide clinics for training and occasional shift coverage. This full-time position offers an excellent chance to gain practical experience in medical imaging, enhance healthcare skills, and work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where no two days are the same.
Support and Training
No prior experience is required as comprehensive training will be provided from the start. The role involves performing cannulation using needles, with frequent contact with blood and body fluids. It is a patient-facing job demanding excellent communication and teamwork within a clinical setting. Continuous mentorship and professional development opportunities are available.
Candidate Profile
- Possesses strong customer service skills and a genuine commitment to compassionate patient care.
- Has previous customer service experience; experience within clinical settings is advantageous.
- Demonstrates a proactive attitude with eagerness to learn and contribute.
- Exhibits excellent problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Displays adaptability and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic team environment.
- Available for rotating shifts between 6am and 9pm.
- Willing to travel to various clinics across Mount Barker and central Adelaide.
- Must have no metal implants due to MRI safety regulations.
- Comfortable handling blood and bodily fluids.
