About the Role

Jones Radiology is seeking an experienced and dedicated Sonographer who is passionate about providing exceptional patient care and enjoys collaborating within a team environment. This position offers flexibility to work across multiple clinic locations in Central or South Adelaide, with occasional weekend shifts depending on the clinic. Additional shifts may be available based on your availability and preference.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive ultrasound examinations with an emphasis on image accuracy and patient comfort.
• Work closely with Radiologists and other healthcare professionals to facilitate precise and timely diagnosis.
• Provide clear guidance and reassurance to patients throughout their imaging procedures.
• Accurately complete imaging documentation and manage billing procedures.
• Foster a positive and collaborative workplace culture grounded in professionalism and mutual support.

Requirements

• Current registration with the Australian Sonographer Accreditation Registry (ASAR).
• Relevant postgraduate qualification in medical ultrasound.
• Valid Working with Children Check and Police Clearance, or willingness to obtain these.
• Advanced technical proficiency in a range of sonographic techniques.
• Experience with imaging software and related technology.
• Effective, compassionate communication abilities.
• Team-oriented attitude with a proactive and supportive approach.
• Dedication to maintaining high standards of quality, ethics, and patient safety.
• Strong analytical and decision-making capabilities.
