Role Overview

The Medical Biller will be responsible for managing insurance verification, claims processing, tracking claim progress, and resolving billing issues in coordination with patients, insurers, and hospital departments.

Key Duties

• Confirm patient insurance eligibility and pre-authorization requirements.
• Prepare and submit claims accurately following hospital and payer protocols.
• Monitor claim statuses, investigate rejections, and assist with resubmissions and appeals.
• Keep detailed billing records and address queries involving patients, insurers, and hospital staff.

Candidate Requirements

• Possess a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Have at least two years of experience in medical billing, preferably within a hospital environment.
• Demonstrate understanding of insurance claim procedures, pre-authorization processes, and payer criteria.
• Be familiar with medical terminology and hospital billing systems or electronic health record (EHR) platforms.
• Exhibit strong attention to detail, excellent communication, and effective follow-up skills.
