Mechanical Technician

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting operations in continuously running plants.
• Install, remove, and reinstall pumps, blowers, and maintain various valves, vessels, columns, exchangers, pipes, and other static equipment.
• Perform maintenance tasks independently, utilizing different maintenance tools, and safely working at heights using proper protective equipment.
• Maintain rotating equipment effectively.
• Inspect work quality and implement corrective measures based on fault detection using work examination methods and standards.
• Comprehend and work from isometric drawings, mechanical blueprints, and datasheets.
• Clean, preserve, and maintain parts removed from equipment.
• Maintain a strong Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ) record in previous roles.
• Follow and execute tasks precisely as described in standard operating procedures and work instructions.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Technical Diploma in relevant mechanical trade (12 + 3 years of education).
• At least 5 years of practical experience in the relevant trade within Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or Fertilizer sectors, demonstrating required competencies.
