Mechanical Site Manager

Overview

We are seeking a Mechanical Site Manager to oversee and manage subcontracted construction activities on site for a Desalination/Reverse Osmosis (RO) Plant project based in Doha, Qatar. The role involves supervision of mechanical, piping, equipment installation, and GRE/GRP works while ensuring stringent adherence to project specifications, quality standards, health, safety and environment (HSE) measures, and timelines. Close collaboration with the main contractor and client is essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise subcontractors' site activities related to mechanical, piping, equipment installations, and GRE/GRP systems for the desalination/RO plant project.
• Ensure all site operations comply with specified project quality requirements, health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Coordinate effectively with main contractors and client representatives to align project execution.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is mandatory.
• At least 10 years of experience working in construction projects within GCC countries.
• Extensive background in oil & gas sectors or desalination/RO plant construction with expertise in mechanical and piping works.
• Proven track record in managing site manpower resources and subcontracted construction workflows.
