Mechanical Project Manager

Role Overview

We are looking for a seasoned Mechanical Project Manager specializing in EPC projects to oversee the entire lifecycle— from design through procurement, execution, testing, and commissioning — of industrial mechanical systems delivered on a turnkey basis.

Primary Duties

• Direct all aspects of mechanical design, engineering, procurement, installation, and commissioning activities.
• Supervise HVAC systems, including chillers and compressors, as well as industrial piping, pumps, and other mechanical assets.
• Analyze and verify design calculations, Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), general arrangement drawings, equipment layouts, Bill of Quantities (BOQs), and technical specifications.
• Collaborate effectively with clients, consultants, suppliers, subcontractors, and cross-functional site teams.
• Oversee project timelines, budget adherence, manpower allocation, material procurement, and on-site operations.
• Ensure all activities meet quality standards, safety protocols, and contractual project specifications.
• Manage testing, commissioning processes, prepare as-built documentation, and lead the final project handover to clients.

Qualifications & Expertise

• Engineering degree (B.E./B.Tech) in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution.
• At least 10 years of pertinent experience with EPC firms or turnkey engineering contractors.
• Proven track record of completing 3 to 4 comprehensive industrial mechanical projects on a turnkey EPC basis, progressing from design to commissioning.
• In-depth understanding of HVAC systems, chillers, compressors, piping configurations, and industrial mechanical machinery.
• Expertise in project planning, financial oversight, supplier management, and site execution strategies.
• Proficiency using MS Project and Microsoft Office suite.
• Demonstrated strong leadership, coordination aptitude, and problem-resolution capabilities.
