Job Overview
Join a leading global engineering consultancy to contribute your expertise as a Mechanical Inspector on a prominent data centre project located east of Riyadh. This role offers the opportunity to be part of major infrastructure development, ensuring high-quality mechanical installations while collaborating with diverse project teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections and oversight of mechanical installations including HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and drainage systems to ensure adherence to design and quality specifications.
- Confirm that all works comply with approved drawings, specifications, and relevant codes or standards.
- Collaborate closely with contractors, consultants, and project teams onsite to facilitate smooth execution of work.
- Assess and review method statements, inspection test plans (ITPs), and material submittals for compliance and suitability.
- Detect any non-conformance issues and ensure corrective measures are proactively implemented.
- Compile detailed inspection reports and maintain comprehensive accurate records of site activities.
- Support quality assurance processes and uphold health and safety standards throughout the construction phases.
Qualifications and Experience
- At least five years of experience working as a Mechanical Inspector on sizable construction projects.
- Mandatory registration with the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE).
- Strong preference for candidates with proven experience on data centre, industrial, or mission-critical infrastructure projects.
- In-depth knowledge of mechanical systems, relevant codes, regulatory standards, and industry inspection protocols.
- Capability to perform effectively in a demanding and fast-paced site environment.
- Excellent communication and reporting abilities for clear documentation and coordination.
