Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Inspector to join our team for a project in Dubai, UAE. The incumbent will perform site inspections compliant with mechanical Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and ensure all mechanical works meet specified standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of mechanical installations on-site according to approved plans, specifications, and project requirements.
- Supervise installation processes for HVAC, plumbing, drainage, firefighting, and other mechanical systems.
- Ensure adherence to quality, safety, and regulatory mandates during execution.
- Inspect materials, review method statements, and evaluate inspection requests.
- Collaborate with contractors, consultants, and site teams to address technical and quality concerns.
- Generate inspection reports, prepare snag lists, and provide daily progress updates.
- Validate and oversee testing and commissioning procedures for mechanical systems.
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in mechanical inspection roles.
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Prior experience specifically with Tower projects within Dubai or the UAE is mandatory.
