Mechanical Engineer Trainee

Job Overview

We are seeking a proactive Graduate Engineer Trainee specialized in Mechanical Engineering to join our Pre-Fabrication Production Department. This position targets fresh graduates eager to immerse themselves in mechanical production processes, fabrication techniques, and shop-floor operations while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Core Responsibilities

• Support daily activities related to pre-fabrication and production processes.
• Oversee production workflows to ensure completion according to schedules.
• Interpret and analyze mechanical drawings, dimensions, and technical specifications.
• Collaborate with supervisors, engineers, operators, and cross-functional departments for smooth operations.
• Supervise fabrication stages including cutting, fitting, welding, assembly, and finishing.
• Ensure compliance with quality control measures and workplace safety guidelines.
• Help maintain accurate production documentation and reports.
• Identify minor production challenges and seek guidance from senior engineers for resolutions.
• Check material availability and assist in optimizing raw material usage.
• Adhere to standard operating procedures and promote continuous improvement initiatives to boost productivity and minimize waste.
• Undertake other related duties as delegated by the reporting manager.

Candidate Profile and Eligibility

• Fresh graduates holding a Diploma, Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.), or Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Mechanical Engineering.
• Keen interest in building a career within production, pre-fabrication, or manufacturing sectors.
• Willingness to operate initially from Pirana, Ahmedabad location and later transition to Kheda.
• Immediate availability to join is preferred.

Skills and Qualifications

• Fundamental understanding of mechanical engineering concepts and production techniques.
• Competency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and measurements.
• Analytical mindset with good problem-solving abilities.
• Basic familiarity with fabrication and manufacturing processes is advantageous.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a team and adapt to a shop-floor environment.
• Basic computer skills, including knowledge of MS Office, will be beneficial.

Compensation and Work Details

• Full-time employment.
• Starting salary offered is ₹23,000 per month (Cost to Company).
• Job locations include Pirana (immediate) followed by relocation to Kheda.
