Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical parts and assemblies for robotic systems, including actuators, grippers, frames, and structural components.
• Collaborate with Robotics Software Engineers to seamlessly integrate mechanical and electrical components.
• Create detailed 3D models, technical drawings, and prototypes using CAD software like SolidWorks or OnShape.
• Perform mechanical analyses, simulations, and testing to validate the safety, durability, and functionality of designs.
• Prepare and maintain design specifications, assembly guidelines, and manufacturing documentation.
• Engage in prototype development, testing, and validation to refine mechanical designs.
• Work closely with manufacturing teams to ensure designs are manufacturable and support prototype fabrication and assembly.
• Identify and solve mechanical design challenges during development, testing, and production stages.
• Stay informed on emerging technologies, design trends, and best industry practices.

• Develop comprehensive robotics systems utilizing the Eureka Controller in partnership with the product team.
• Implement advanced computer vision systems leveraging Eureka’s technologies.
• Maintain consistent communication with clients to meet their expectations while minimizing additional work.
• Generate system documentation and provide training to integrators and end-users.
• Manage on-site system installation, including delivery, calibration, and user acceptance testing.
• Conduct maintenance on systems after deployment to ensure proper operation.

Requirements

We welcome fresh graduates who satisfy the following criteria:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Proficiency with CAD platforms such as SolidWorks or OnShape.
• Knowledge of Python programming, including familiarity with git and shell scripting.
• A solid foundation in algorithmics and mathematics, covering complexity, linear algebra, probability, and statistics.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with professional workflows including presentations, documentation, planning, and time management.
• Advanced skills in SolidWorks or OnShape.
• Strong Python programming skills applied to robotics or AI development.
• Deep understanding of algorithmics including proof of correctness and resource complexity.
• Knowledge in robotics concepts such as kinematics, calibration, and motion planning.
• Familiarity with computer vision and AI tools, including deep learning frameworks.
