Position Overview

This full-time, on-site position is for a Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) Engineer located in the Riyadh Region. The role centers on designing, evaluating, and coordinating MEP systems for commercial and hospitality properties, ensuring adherence to all applicable building codes and standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze MEP drawings and comprehensive technical specifications.
• Conduct load calculations and assess system performance and efficiency.
• Collaborate closely with architects, structural engineers, contractors, and suppliers to synchronize project components.
• Participate in on-site meetings and resolve technical challenges throughout design, construction, and commissioning phases.
• Support quality assurance protocols, assist with cost management, and promote sustainability initiatives.
• Compile detailed reports and documentation for project stakeholders.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Proficient in Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing engineering principles, including building services design and integration.
• Practical expertise in plumbing system layout, sizing, and compliance with regional codes.
• Strong electrical engineering knowledge, encompassing power distribution, lighting solutions, and design of low-voltage systems.
• Effective coordination skills to manage interfaces across mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and other construction disciplines.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services Engineering, or closely related fields.
• Experience working on commercial, hospitality, or mixed-use real estate developments, preferably within Riyadh or the Saudi market.
• Knowledge of both local and international building codes, safety protocols, and sustainability standards.
• Competency in engineering design and coordination software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or equivalent.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities; capable of collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams on-site.
• More than ten years of professional experience in the relevant field.
