Role Summary

We seek a motivated individual to join our Shop/Maintenance team located in Windsor, Ontario. This position requires the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and assist the maintenance crew with various labor-intensive tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist mechanics, apprentices, and other team members by performing various manual labor tasks as assigned.
• Transport tools, equipment, and materials to designated locations.
• Maintain cleanliness of machines, work areas, trucks, and trailers.

Working Conditions and Physical Demands

• The role involves physically demanding activities.
• A mix of sitting, standing, and walking throughout the workday is required.
• Tasks include frequent bending, crouching, and kneeling.

Requirements

• Possess a high school diploma or an equivalent certification.
• Mechanical aptitude and prior experience in a related role are advantageous.
• Ability to pay close attention and adhere to instructions accurately.
• Availability to work full-time hours.
• Capacity to perform heavy lifting and engage in physical tasks such as bending, kneeling, and twisting.
• Demonstrate a high degree of responsibility and prioritization of safety in the workplace.
