Role Importance
Our Assistant Department Managers are passionate leaders who guide our teams to deliver outstanding customer service and memorable shopping experiences across all stores in Canada. You will have the opportunity to enhance the in-store experience and contribute to continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and motivate team members to boost efficiency, engagement, and retention
- Ensure merchandising and operational standards are maintained consistently
- Take ownership of financial targets for your department
- Identify and recruit exceptional talent to strengthen the team
- Develop and lead diverse teams fostering inclusivity and belonging
Candidate Profile
- Resourceful and polite when handling customer inquiries
- Enthusiastic about learning and providing excellent customer service
- Flexible to work various shifts including days, evenings, and weekends
- Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds and stay active throughout the shift
- Effective people leadership skills with a track record of delighting customers
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a strong team player
- Capable of adapting to a fast-paced retail environment
- Previous retail experience is an asset
