Job description
Role Overview
We are searching for a seasoned Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) Coordinator to contribute to the execution of a prestigious pharmaceutical construction project. This opportunity promises a strong trajectory for professional growth and engagement through every phase of a demanding and intricate assignment.
Key Duties
- Oversee all stages of M&E services from pre-construction activities through to commissioning.
- Handle design documentation, technical submissions, and project paperwork ensuring alignment with scheduling demands.
- Facilitate seamless communication between design teams and specialist subcontractors.
- Supervise installation processes to verify compliance with specifications and authorized documentation.
- Conduct weekly M&E coordination meetings and deliver updates on project progression to teams.
- Detect and monitor any design amendments or inconsistencies.
- Guarantee that all M&E tasks conform to Health & Safety policies and project guidelines.
- Assist in client presentations, project handover stages, Building Control Amendment Regulations (BCAR) documentation, and finalise Safety File requirements.
Qualifications and Experience
- A relevant professional credential in the M&E or construction field.
- Between three and five years' prior experience specifically in M&E coordination roles.
- Proficient with IT tools including Microsoft Office Suite and BIM (Building Information Modeling) software navigation.
- Demonstrated strengths in communication, organisation, and managing time effectively.
- Capability to perform efficiently under pressure with a focus on meeting tight deadlines.
