Mathematics Teacher for Grades 4-6

Role Overview

We seek a dedicated Mathematics Teacher to instruct students in Grades 4 through 6 in Jeddah. This position involves delivering engaging, interactive lessons that enhance students' grasp of mathematical concepts and help develop their problem-solving skills.

Primary Responsibilities

• Design and present dynamic Mathematics lessons tailored to Grades 4, 5, and 6.
• Explain mathematical ideas clearly and confidently using practical examples, with an emphasis on problem-solving activities.
• Encourage student participation and independent learning through interactive teaching strategies.
• Align teaching content with international curriculum standards and school expectations.
• Prepare lesson plans, homework, assessments, and other educational materials.
• Evaluate student progress, provide constructive feedback, and personalize support when necessary.
• Adapt teaching approaches to meet diverse learning needs and help students overcome challenges in Mathematics.
• Maintain a positive, organized, and motivating classroom atmosphere.
• Promote development of numerical reasoning, analytical thinking, and mathematical confidence.
• Work collaboratively with leadership, colleagues, and parents to facilitate student success.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or a closely related discipline.
• At least 2 years of experience teaching Mathematics.
• Familiarity with British or American curricula.
• Preferably experienced with elementary or lower-middle-school (Grades 4-6) students.
• Excellent English communication skills with clear and confident classroom delivery.
• Strong capability to convey math concepts naturally without heavy reliance on textbooks or scripts.
• Engaging, interactive teaching style focused on student participation.
• Effective classroom management and communicative abilities.
• Skilled in nurturing students' mathematical reasoning and independent thinking.
• Current residing in Jeddah or willing to relocate.
