Role Objectives

  • Design innovative IT solutions addressing complex financial questions and actively drive digital transformation.
  • Delve deeply into Python-based simulations or prototype projects in Scala, developing specialization over the course of your career.
  • Lead software development efforts independently or as part of a team, acting as the crucial interface with clients.
  • Create foundational software concepts and architectures, implementing robust and scalable solutions.
  • Continuously enhance the existing zeb.control software tailored for financial sectors, advancing both zeb's capabilities and your own career trajectory.
  • Contribute beyond your immediate tasks by engaging in company-wide initiatives such as delivering presentations, authoring articles, participating in recruitment, and fostering innovation management.

Candidate Profile

  • You have successfully completed a university degree in natural sciences, economics, or IT-related fields.
  • Possess initial professional experience as a computational core or software developer; prior exposure to financial services is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Familiarity with modeling techniques, software development methodologies, and tools, with a preference for agile collaboration.
  • Quickly grasp new challenges, analyze content thoroughly, and deliver solutions both independently and collaboratively.
  • A reliable team player who contributes proactively, bringing creative problem-solving abilities.
  • Enthusiastic about questioning established norms and driving innovation.
  • Proficient in German (minimum C1 level, business fluent) and English (minimum B2 level, fluent), both written and spoken.
