Job description
Overview
We are seeking an experienced Material Planner to join our team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The ideal candidate will possess over five years of expertise in materials or production planning specifically within the aerospace or manufacturing sectors. This role requires a strong background in SAP systems, as well as proficiency in managing bill of materials (BOM), material requirements planning (MRP), and inventory control software.
Key Responsibilities and Skills
- Apply in-depth knowledge of SAP for a minimum of three years to effectively plan material requirements.
- Interpret CAD drawings and engineering schematics to align materials planning accurately with production demands.
- Utilize advanced Microsoft Excel capabilities for data analysis and reporting.
- Collaborate efficiently within cross-departmental teams to achieve operational objectives.
- Employ analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve planning challenges.
- Communicate clearly with stakeholders and maintain strong interpersonal relationships.
- Manage workload under pressure and be available for overtime as necessary.
Additional Qualifications
A bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related discipline is required. Knowledge of aerospace industry standards and regulations is advantageous.
