Material Handler Level 2 (Packer)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced industrial packer to join our team as a Material Handler Level 2 in Kassel, Germany, for a 20-month contract. This role involves handling packaging duties within a warehouse or storage environment, ensuring efficient material movement using a variety of equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform packaging activities utilizing professional experience in industrial packing.
• Load and unload materials within the warehouse or other storage locations.
• Operate equipment such as hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, and conveyors to facilitate material transfer to/from aircraft, trucks, or trains.
• Adhere to established procedures and standard operating practices in the field.
• Follow set instructions and guidelines to complete job functions accurately.
• Work under direct supervision without the need for independent decision-making.
• Report to a supervisor or manager consistently for task assignment and feedback.
• Maintain effective communication skills in the German language.

Requirements

• Prior experience in packaging and industrial packing is required.
• Competence in handling warehouse material movement tools and equipment.
• Ability to understand and execute instructions following standard procedures.
• Fluency in German language is mandatory for this position.
• Willingness to work under close supervision and within a structured environment.
