About the Role

Located in Hautapu, APL Window Solutions is seeking motivated individuals to join our accomplished team focused on transporting insulated glass units across the North Island. This position calls for a genuine enthusiasm for trucks and the broader transport sector, along with a commitment to ensuring every delivery arrives in flawless condition.

Key Responsibilities

The role includes preparing, poling, loading, and unloading both loose glass and trolleys, necessitating a reasonable level of physical fitness. Drivers are key representatives of our company, responsible for operating a modern, purpose-built fleet designed to transport glass products to clients and manufacturers nationwide.

Candidate Requirements

• Possession of a full, clean Class 2 driver's license
• “F” endorsement coupled with verified experience
• Strong dedication and capability to operate independently
• Outstanding customer service abilities
• Meticulous attention to detail and care when handling fragile cargo during loading and unloading
• Physical ability and willingness to safely load and unload trucks
• Strict adherence to safety protocols
• Past experience with curtain side and flat deck vehicles
