Job Overview
This role focuses on strategic sourcing and supply chain management within the manufacturing sector, specifically handling indirect materials. The candidate will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and developing vendors specializing in machined components to strengthen the supplier network.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead strategic sourcing initiatives and supply chain management efforts aligned with manufacturing requirements.
- Identify, evaluate, and nurture relationships with vendors supplying machined parts to enhance procurement effectiveness.
- Utilize SAP for materials planning, procurement strategy execution, and overall operational implementation.
- Develop and maintain contingency plans to mitigate supply risks, including vendor diversification.
- Coordinate import and logistics processes to ensure timely delivery of materials.
Candidate Profile and Eligibility
Applicants should possess a B.Tech or B.E. degree in Automobile Engineering, Production and Industrial Engineering, Aviation/Aeronautical/Aerospace Engineering, Instrumentation and Control Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Manufacturing Engineering.
