About the Role
This opportunity is with a multinational manufacturing company based in Hosur, India, focusing on global sourcing activities related to castings and forgings commodities. The role demands hands-on participation in new product development, strategic supplier selection, contract review, and cost optimization initiatives within a manufacturing environment.
Primary Responsibilities
- Oversee global sourcing for castings and forgings, including new product development (NPD) and supplier evaluation and approval processes.
- Conduct supplier reviews, lead negotiations, and implement cost reduction strategies effectively.
- Evaluate supplier capacity and facilitate enhancements to meet production demands.
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Prepare, review, and manage supplier contracts in accordance with company policies and processes.
