Job Overview

The Masseuse’s main responsibility is to offer expert massage and wellness therapies, ensuring that service quality aligns with the hotel’s luxurious standards. This includes delivering various massage treatments, managing and prepping treatment spaces, and maintaining impeccable hygiene protocols.

Key Duties

• Conduct diverse massage therapies with professionalism and precision.
• Prepare and upkeep treatment rooms to meet strict cleanliness and sanitation standards.
• Maintain accurate treatment documentation and records.
• Support front desk or spa reception tasks as needed.
• Actively promote spa amenities and services to guests.
• Respond courteously to guest questions and requests.
• Manage inventory of supplies and equipment, reporting any malfunctions or maintenance needs promptly.
• Fully adhere to hotel policies, health and safety guidelines, and emergency procedures.
• Maintain excellent grooming and hygiene standards at all times.
• Participate in training sessions and assist in broader departmental operations.
• Perform additional responsibilities as delegated by management.

Qualifications & Experience

• Completion of a Diploma or Certificate in Massage Therapy, Spa Therapy, or an equivalent discipline.
• Possession of a valid Massage Therapist License or government-authorized certification.
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience working as a masseuse in hotels, resorts, spas, or wellness centers; experience in five-star hotels is highly preferred.
• Proficiency in multiple massage techniques is essential.
• Fluent command of spoken and written English, with additional language skills considered beneficial.
• Exceptional customer service aptitude and effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Professional demeanor with meticulous attention to personal hygiene and grooming.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules including weekends and public holidays.
• Sound knowledge of health, safety, cleanliness standards, and emergency protocols.
