Job Overview

The HVAC Technician role involves managing all air-conditioning systems within the hotel premises. This position requires addressing emergency repairs, carrying out preventive maintenance, ensuring safety compliance, and collaborating closely with supervisors to maintain operational efficiency.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Oversee and maintain the hotel’s air-conditioning systems to ensure optimal functioning.
• Respond promptly to emergency repair needs and make necessary adjustments to HVAC equipment.
• Ensure timely resolution of trouble reports and conduct routine as well as scheduled preventive maintenance.
• Understand and utilize the hotel's HVAC layout for effective operations.
• Emphasize cost efficiency while strictly adhering to safety protocols.
• Recommend and perform minor or major repairs essential for maintenance completion.
• Execute statutory safety inspections as directed.
• Immediately report equipment faults to supervisors for swift action.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date log sheets for all HVAC activities.
• Address daily HVAC-related issues as they arise.
• Inform supervisors upon completion of assigned tasks.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Possess 3 to 5 years of experience in an HVAC technician role or similar capacity.
• Competent in reading and interpreting technical manuals and schematic diagrams.
• Skilled in operating various HVAC tools and equipment proficiently.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and diagnostic skills relevant to HVAC systems.
• Physically fit to manage equipment and work under demanding conditions.
