Job description
Overview
Baycourt Community & Arts Centre invites a passionate and strategic Marketing & Ticketing Manager to lead its marketing, audience engagement, and ticketing initiatives. Based in Tauranga, this leadership role offers the chance to promote a broad spectrum of events ranging from international performances to local community activities across two central venues.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and guide marketing, communications, audience development, and ticketing operations for Baycourt Community & Arts Centre and The Cargo Shed.
- Develop and implement compelling campaigns aimed at boosting attendance, engagement, and revenue.
- Utilize customer insights and data analytics to drive audience expansion and improve event experience.
- Foster and maintain strong partnerships with promoters, stakeholders, and community organizations.
- Lead, mentor, and cultivate a high-performing marketing and ticketing team.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven experience in senior roles pertaining to marketing, audience growth, ticketing, or communications.
- Strong leadership capabilities paired with excellent stakeholder relationship building.
- Demonstrated success in executing effective campaigns and achieving commercial results.
- Proficiency with customer data analysis, CRM platforms, and ticketing software.
- Genuine enthusiasm for the arts, cultural events, and fostering community connections.
