Job Overview
The Marketing Manager will be pivotal in planning, developing, and executing marketing and communication activities designed to increase brand recognition, engage guests, and drive revenue growth. This role involves collaborating closely with Sales, Revenue, Food & Beverage, Operations, and other departments to ensure successful marketing campaigns aligned with brand standards and tailored to the Saudi Arabian market.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in creating and executing the hotel’s yearly marketing plan and calendar.
- Implement marketing campaigns covering rooms, dining, events, and other services.
- Ensure all marketing communications consistently reflect brand guidelines.
- Manage production of marketing materials including collateral, signage, and digital content.
- Support hotel brand positioning and storytelling to boost visibility locally and internationally.
- Maintain an organized library of approved brand assets such as photos, videos, and presentations.
- Collaborate with external creatives, suppliers, and agencies as necessary.
- Oversee social media channels, developing content calendars and coordinating engaging multimedia content.
- Monitor social media feedback, respond appropriately, and support paid digital campaigns while tracking their effectiveness.
- Keep the hotel’s website and online content accurate and up to date.
- Create and coordinate compelling content to showcase the hotel, destination, initiatives, and community involvement.
- Assist with bilingual marketing communications and arrange professional translations when needed.
- Support media visits, influencer engagements, content creator collaborations, and public relations.
- Work with Sales and Revenue for campaigns targeting occupancy, revenue, and business growth.
- Support Food & Beverage marketing promotions and seasonal events including key Saudi festivities like Ramadan, Eid, Saudi National Day, and Founding Day.
- Stay updated on competitor activities, market trends, and hospitality developments in Saudi Arabia.
- Identify opportunities for partnerships with local businesses, tourism entities, and community organizations.
- Help manage the marketing budget, process financial documentation, and ensure expenditures align with approved budgets and timelines.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
- Two to four years of relevant marketing experience, preferably within hospitality, tourism, lifestyle, or luxury sectors.
- Experience in hotel marketing, especially within Saudi Arabia or the GCC, is highly preferred.
- Strong competency in digital marketing, social media, content creation, and brand management.
- Proven ability to coordinate marketing campaigns, events, and work with creative agencies.
- Good understanding of the Saudi hospitality and tourism market is an advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with social media management, digital marketing tools, and basic design/content software.
- Familiarity with hotel systems and branded marketing platforms is beneficial.
