Job Overview

Based in Auckland, New Zealand, the Marketing Manager will report to the Associate Director Brand for Meal Kits ANZ. The role is part of a dynamic team responsible for executing the HelloFresh brand strategy and go-to-market plans in novel and creative ways tailored to the New Zealand market. It requires frequent travel to Australia to collaborate closely with the Sydney team. This is a permanent full-time position starting October 1, 2026.

Role Responsibilities

  • Support the development and practical application of New Zealand marketing strategies, gaining deep knowledge of local consumers, media, and the food industry while balancing input from global stakeholders.
  • Collaborate on an integrated brand calendar alongside local and global creative, brand, and product teams, blending campaigns across diverse marketing platforms such as SEO, influencer marketing, paid social, and direct sales to meet broader objectives.
  • Work closely with the ANZ Product Marketing Lead to integrate product marketing within overall brand initiatives seamlessly.
  • Ensure the customer remains central to all efforts, assisting performance, CRM, direct sales, and customer experience teams with customer-centric creative briefs and communications that echo the brand’s value proposition.
  • Oversee daily relationships with agencies (creative, PR, media) and central ATL teams by crafting insight-driven briefs, developing media strategies, and driving localized brand activities.
  • Manage the creative production lifecycle for campaigns and execute local and global brand partnerships, collaborating with culinary, product, growth, and operations teams.
  • Manage and track the New Zealand brand budget, maintaining accurate expenditure records and administering spending to deliver exceptional campaigns on time and within budget.
  • Conduct post-campaign evaluations and reports to demonstrate marketing impacts on business and brand KPIs, providing insights and testing recommendations for future initiatives.

Candidate Profile

  • A deep passion for food and the HelloFresh brand, combined with curiosity and a commitment to innovating brand marketing approaches.
  • Strong expertise in marketing, particularly brand and digital, with proficiency in adapting multi-channel communications to enhance brand awareness, affinity, and consideration supported by data-driven decisions.
  • Proven experience managing end-to-end ATL campaigns, including crafting media strategies, planning, and executing creative communications.
  • Excellent communication and influencing abilities, with competence in navigating a global organization across multiple departments and teams.
  • Exceptional creativity leadership, preparing clear, concise, and insight-rich briefs efficiently for both planned and spontaneous opportunities.
  • Outstanding project management skills paired with high organizational capabilities to maintain work-in-progress and budget tracking, ensuring on-time, budget-conscious delivery.
  • Self-driven and responsible, balancing autonomy with proactive collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
  • Data savvy with a systematic approach to problem-solving involving hypothesis generation, testing, analysis, and actionable recommendations.
