Manufacturing Supervisor

Position Overview

Our client, a prominent Food Manufacturing company based in County Waterford, Ireland, is looking to appoint an experienced Maintenance Manager to join their Management Team on a permanent basis. This role is pivotal for ensuring top maintenance and operational standards across the facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate all maintenance activities within the plant, including preventive and predictive maintenance strategies.
• Enhance equipment reliability, maximize uptime, and champion continuous improvement programs.
• Lead various maintenance projects and contribute support to capital investment endeavors.
• Guide, develop, and mentor the engineering and maintenance teams.
• Drive excellence in maintenance practices and operational performance at the site level.

Candidate Requirements

• Proven maintenance professional with robust supervisory experience in Food, FMCG, or manufacturing environments.
• Comprehensive knowledge of maintenance management systems, reliability engineering principles, and continuous improvement techniques.
• Possession of a third-level qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing disciplines, or an equivalent Trade qualification.
• Demonstrable leadership and team management skills, with a keen interest in fostering maintenance excellence and operational efficiency.
• Candidates with an experienced trades background in manufacturing or food production are also encouraged to apply.
