About the Role

Joining KPMG’s Transfer Pricing Group means becoming part of a multidisciplinary team including economists, tax experts, accountants, and lawyers who help clients navigate complex transfer pricing laws across multiple countries, ensuring tax-efficient policies while mitigating regulatory risks.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee multiple concurrent projects focused on designing and implementing transfer pricing strategies for goods, services, and intangible assets.
- Lead both functional and risk evaluations and supervise economic and financial models where applicable.
- Define parameters for economic, financial, and benchmarking analyses and critically assess outcomes.
- Serve as the primary client liaison throughout project phases, fostering strong relationships through effective communication.
- Collaborate with national transfer pricing teams and cross-functional groups to deliver timely, high-quality results.
- Mentor and support junior colleagues to encourage ongoing learning and exchange of knowledge.
Candidate Profile
- Possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, Law, or related disciplines.
- Holding CPA, CFA, or similar professional credentials is advantageous.
- Completion of an in-depth tax course is considered an asset.
- Bring a minimum of five years’ consulting experience specifically in transfer pricing.
- Demonstrate solid expertise in OECD guidelines, BEPS initiatives, and international tax regulations.
- Proficient at analyzing financial information and constructing financial models.
- Exhibit strong analytical, written, and verbal communication abilities combined with organizational skills and adaptability.
- Show proven leadership and project management capabilities, including successfully nurturing client relationships.
Compensation and Benefits
The expected salary range in Ontario is $95,000 to $143,000 annually, with eligibility for performance bonuses. In British Columbia, the range is $85,000 to $128,500 per year, also potentially including bonuses. Final salary figures depend on location, expertise, and qualifications.
