Manager, Tax Services - Canada at Deloitte

About the Role

Deloitte India's Business Tax Services group, supporting U.S.-based clients, invites experienced professionals passionate about advancing tax functions through transformation and innovative process improvements. This Manager role focuses on assisting clients, particularly in Canada and the U.S., in elevating their tax operations by integrating technology and expert tax knowledge across complex global environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Support U.S./Canada clients with preparation of various tax returns and related computations within Deloitte India’s Tax Compliance Group.
• Deliver compliance services for individual and business tax returns including tax projections and accounting for federal, state, and international tax matters relevant to U.S. and Canadian jurisdictions.
• Engage in learning and applying detailed Canada income tax regulations, demonstrating strong attention to detail alongside proficient verbal and written communication skills.
• Participate in training sessions to acquire requisite technical and functional expertise.

Qualifications and Experience

• Possess a full-time MBA in Finance or a related field from a recognized university with at least 60% aggregate or equivalent CGPA.
• Exhibit solid accounting fundamentals coupled with effective communication abilities.
• Demonstrate critical thinking and analytical capabilities.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office software such as Excel and Word is preferred.

Work Environment and Schedule

Based in Hyderabad, India, candidates will work onsite with shift timings either 11 AM to 8 PM IST or 2 PM to 11 PM IST.
