Overview
This role offers a strategic leadership opportunity to shape Singapore's ICT and Media workforce by overseeing the full lifecycle of Pre-Employment Training (PET) programmes, combining strategy formulation, policy evaluation, programme rollout, and engagement with key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and enhance policies affecting ICT and Media graduates to improve curriculum relevance and maximize employability outcomes.
- Lead the design, execution, and assessment of PET programmes ensuring compliance with governance and budgetary constraints.
- Utilize workforce analytics, labour market intelligence, and programme data to guide strategies and measure effectiveness.
- Build and maintain collaborative relationships with government entities, educational institutions, and industry partners to create opportunities like internships, projects, and work-study initiatives to boost graduate employability.
Candidate Profile
- At least five years of relevant experience, ideally within policy or manpower planning roles in Singapore's Government sector.
- Proficient analytical abilities to decipher complex datasets and derive practical recommendations.
- Exceptional communication skills for articulating complex concepts clearly and convincingly in written and oral formats.
- Strong interpersonal aptitude demonstrated through successful collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Adaptable to fast-evolving work environments.
- Prior knowledge of government organizational frameworks and policy development processes is preferred.
