Manager - Information Technology Audit (UAE Nationals Only)

Job Overview

The Roads and Transport Authority is seeking a Manager to lead IT auditing efforts focused on digital technologies. The role involves assessing control effectiveness, ensuring compliance with plans and standards, and driving prompt resolution of audit findings across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and enhance digital IT governance systems following international best practices.
• Manage internal audits related to the digital technology and information infrastructure aligned with approved plans and defined scopes.
• Oversee controls concerning digital technologies, systems, applications, infrastructure, projects, and cybersecurity as part of audit activities.
• Develop and administer risk-based smart audit plans with a comprehensive understanding of technical systems and automated processes, including monitoring implementation and proposing improvements.
• Advise departments on governance of digital information technologies and auditing or control of technical processes and data.
• Drive initiatives to enhance internal audit capabilities, maturity, digitalization, and workforce development, focusing on career pathways, mentoring, and upskilling, particularly supporting UAE Nationals.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Audit, Engineering, or Accounting.
• Experience requirement: minimum of 9 years for Master’s degree holders, or 11 years for Bachelor’s degree holders.
• Professional certifications such as Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA); one of CIA, CPA, or CA; ISO/IEC 27001 auditor or lead implementer; CISSP or CISM.
