Role Overview
Datadog’s Implementation Services team aids customers in rapidly adopting and deploying the Datadog platform. As a Services Architect Manager II, you will oversee the growth of regional seller relationships, mentor your team of Service Architects, and enhance the Implementation Services program to better address client needs. Key Responsibilities
- Lead, guide, and mentor a dynamic team of Service Architects working in a fast-paced setting.
- Act as both a contributor and leader in planning and executing Datadog implementations, including gathering technical requirements, designing architecture, and supporting deployment phases.
- Strengthen relationships with regional sales personnel to increase sales for Implementation Services.
- Engage directly with clients to promote services and assess program impact on their business outcomes.
- Ensure delivery of top-quality engagements to customers.
- Drive initiatives aimed at improving program offerings and service quality.
- Collaborate closely with Customer Success, Technical Account Management, and Sales teams to provide outstanding onboarding experiences.
Required Qualifications
- Experience architecting and delivering technical solutions related to DevOps monitoring or systems architecture.
- 3 to 5 years of experience managing and developing teams.
- 1 to 2 years of experience in selling or positioning professional services.
- Exceptional communication skills tailored for both technical and executive stakeholders.
- Familiarity with modern infrastructure and monitoring technologies and tools.
- Ability to sit for up to 4 hours and travel to client sites using various transportation methods.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 30% of the time via automobile, train, or plane.
