It features 378 elegantly designed guest rooms and an upscale ambiance. We invite motivated and dynamic individuals to join our team as a Manager I People Development within the People & Culture division and advance their careers with us.
Role Overview and Responsibilities
- Prepare, compile, and regularly update comprehensive training manuals and tools for various departments.
- Maintain and update the Premium Master Training Attendance Lists and records for all training sessions including Fire Safety, First Aid, and Ennismore Learning programs.
- Maintain personal training history files for every employee thoroughly and up-to-date.
- Ensure adherence to Training Guidelines and People & Culture policies as stipulated by the Regional Head Office.
- Manage intern documentation including files, issuing offer letters, onboarding processes, and certifying completion of internship programs.
- Oversee room bookings for all training events and prepare Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) when needed.
- Ensure all training and recognition certificates are accurately prepared and distributed.
- Set up training rooms according to specific session requirements, overseeing the creation of printed and instructional training materials.
- Monitor nomination lists to guarantee departmental nominations for trainings are completed timely.
- Manage training attendance records and nominations through the Learning Management System.
- Maintain both digital and physical filing systems for all training-related documentation, ensuring records are current.
- Facilitate training sessions and coordinate the preparation and display of promotional posters and logistical arrangements for Corporate Social Responsibility events, including maintenance of purchase order records.
- Track cross-training and cross-exposure activities and prepare relevant certificates.
- Implement and assess training methods aiming to optimize training efficiency and effectiveness.
- Conduct quality audits thrice weekly within departments to evaluate briefing standards and provide constructive feedback.
- Deliver mandatory IFH training sessions for departments such as Restaurant Reservations, Spa, Sales, and Operators when required.
- Host orientation show-arounds for new hires during their induction week.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Hospitality or Hotel Management, or Business Administration.
- Certification as a Trainer or Train-the-Trainer credential, preferably from internationally recognized hotel brands.
- 2 to 5 years of professional experience in Learning and Development, ideally within hotel operations.
- Experience working in 5-star hotel environments is highly desirable.
- Proficient English language skills, both spoken and written.
- Key competencies include Training Needs Analysis (TNA), presentation and facilitation skills, training evaluation, strong communication, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Ability to operate effectively within multicultural teams and maintain a professional appearance—well-groomed, punctual, dependable, and appropriately attired.
