Job Overview

We are seeking a Manager I People Development to join our People & Culture team. This role involves coordinating and enhancing training initiatives, maintaining comprehensive training documentation, and ensuring the effective implementation of learning programs in alignment with organizational guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and periodically update training manuals and resources relevant to different departments.
• Maintain and update the Premium Master Training Attendance List and records for various training programs including Fire Safety, First Aid, and Ennismore Learning.
• Manage individual employee training history files to ensure accurate tracking of learning progress.
• Apply and adhere to Training Guidelines and People & Culture policies as directed by the Regional Head Office.
• Oversee intern documentation including file updates, issuing offer letters, onboarding monitoring, and certificate issuance.
• Coordinate room bookings for scheduled trainings and prepare Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) as needed.
• Prepare and distribute certificates for all training and recognition events.
• Ensure that training venues are organized and equipped according to training requirements.
• Create printed and instructional materials to support training sessions.
• Manage nominations and attendance for training using the Learning Management System to ensure departmental commitments.
• Maintain both digital and physical archives of all training-related documentation to ensure completeness and accuracy.
• Lead and facilitate various training sessions.
• Support preparation of promotional materials and logistical arrangements for Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities, maintaining event records including purchase orders.
• Track cross-training and exposure programs and prepare corresponding certificates.
• Implement and assess training practices to enhance their effectiveness and efficiency.
• Conduct three weekly audits in various departments to evaluate the quality of briefings and provide constructive feedback.
• Facilitate Incident-Free Hotel (IFH) training sessions for Restaurant Reservations, Spa, Sales, and Operators as per reports.
• Conduct orientation show-arounds for new hires within the first week of joining.

Education and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Hospitality or Hotel Management, or Business Administration.
• Certified Trainer or Train-the-Trainer certification, preferably obtained from internationally recognized hotel brands.

Additional Details

• Experience: Between two and five years in Learning and Development, preferably within the hotel industry.
• Appearance: Professional and polished demeanor including punctuality and reliability.
• Preferred Industry Experience: Working knowledge of hotel operations in luxury 5-star establishments is strongly favored.
• Language Skills: Proficiency in spoken and written English is essential.
• Core Skills: Expertise in Training Needs Analysis (TNA), presentation and facilitation techniques, training evaluation, communication, and competence in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Experience working with multicultural teams is a plus.
