About the Role
Join EY as a Manager within the Financial Reporting team, contributing your strong professional services or industry background to support our Accounting Compliance and Reporting function. This expanding team offers opportunities across multiple Australian cities, with flexible hybrid work arrangements and the possibility of reduced hours upon discussion.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate statutory reporting services for corporate clients, handling stakeholder communication and ensuring delivery of thorough financial reports with leadership and technical support.
- Lead complex statutory reporting projects, offering senior guidance, supervising teams, and mentoring team members for career advancement.
- Develop internal and external networks to keep abreast of industry developments, encourage a high-performance team culture, and celebrate collective successes.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Comprehensive expertise in Australian Accounting Standards, gained through either professional services or similar industry roles.
- Possession of a CA qualification or its equivalent is mandatory.
- Essential technical knowledge of IFRS; familiarity with other accounting frameworks such as US GAAP is advantageous but not required.

- Capability to identify risks, pursue continuous improvements and automation initiatives, while maintaining accuracy and strong prioritization skills.
- Proactive and calm approach under pressure to meet deadlines within a dynamic team setting.
- Effective communication skills for leading client discussions on technical topics and coordinating engagements.
- Experience overseeing remote teams domestically and internationally; audit experience at Big 4 or mid-tier firms is beneficial.
