About the Role

Join EY as a Manager within the Financial Reporting team, contributing your strong professional services or industry background to support our Accounting Compliance and Reporting function. Key Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate statutory reporting services for corporate clients, handling stakeholder communication and ensuring delivery of thorough financial reports with leadership and technical support.
• Lead complex statutory reporting projects, offering senior guidance, supervising teams, and mentoring team members for career advancement.
• Develop internal and external networks to keep abreast of industry developments, encourage a high-performance team culture, and celebrate collective successes.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Comprehensive expertise in Australian Accounting Standards, gained through either professional services or similar industry roles.
• Possession of a CA qualification or its equivalent is mandatory.
• Essential technical knowledge of IFRS; familiarity with other accounting frameworks such as US GAAP is advantageous but not required.

• Capability to identify risks, pursue continuous improvements and automation initiatives, while maintaining accuracy and strong prioritization skills.
• Proactive and calm approach under pressure to meet deadlines within a dynamic team setting.
• Effective communication skills for leading client discussions on technical topics and coordinating engagements.
• Experience overseeing remote teams domestically and internationally; audit experience at Big 4 or mid-tier firms is beneficial.
