About the Role
Join a leading professional services firm as a Manager within the Financial Reporting team, where you will leverage your robust experience in accounting compliance and statutory reporting. This position is offered as a hybrid role based in major Australian cities including Perth, Melbourne, Brisbane, or Sydney, with flexible hours negotiable.
Primary Responsibilities
- Oversee statutory financial reporting services for corporate clients, ensuring high-quality deliverables and managing key stakeholder relationships with assistance from leadership and technical specialists.
- Lead complex statutory reporting projects by providing senior guidance, supervising team performance, and mentoring team members to support their professional growth.
- Develop and nurture both internal and external professional networks to stay abreast of industry trends, cultivate a collaborative and high-performing team culture, and celebrate team achievements.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Extensive knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards acquired through experience at a professional services firm or equivalent industry role.
- Completed Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification or equivalent certification.
- Strong command of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) is essential; familiarity with other accounting frameworks such as US GAAP is advantageous but not mandatory.

- Experience leading remote teams both domestically and internationally; prior audit experience at a Big 4 or mid-tier accounting firm is preferred.
