Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage month-end and year-end closing activities to ensure timely, precise financial reporting.
- Conduct reviews of financial statements, general ledger entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and accounting records.
- Oversee statutory and internal audits, guaranteeing prompt resolution of audit issues.
- Ensure adherence to Ind AS standards, regulatory mandates, and internal controls (IFC/IFCR).
- Manage lease accounting, fixed asset accounting, and financial governance protocols.
- Analyze variances and generate actionable financial insights for management decision-making.
- Collaborate closely with FP&A, Tax, Treasury, Compliance, Accounts Payable/Receivable, and executive leadership teams.
- Champion initiatives to enhance processes, standardize operations, automate procedures, and optimize ERP systems.
Candidate Profile
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) - mandatory requirement.
- Minimum of 4 years’ relevant post-qualification experience in financial reporting, controllership, or accounting roles.
- In-depth expertise in areas such as financial reporting, preparation of financial statements, month-end and year-end close processes, statutory and internal audits, balance sheet reconciliations, internal financial controls, and technical accounting.
- Preferably experienced in financial reporting across multiple entities.
- Background in professional services, consulting firms, Big 4 accounting firms, or comparable environments is advantageous.
- Familiarity with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, including Microsoft Dynamics 365, SAP, and Oracle.
Minimum education
Bachelor's Degree
