About the Role

Join EY as a Manager within the Finance - CFO Advisory team, partnering with CFOs, finance units, and broader business groups to foster long-term value creation. By leveraging your commercial expertise, sector knowledge, regulatory insights, and proficiency in financial accounting and reporting, you will deliver effective finance optimization strategies that produce impactful results. The role involves working in a high-performing environment focused on meaningful challenges with tangible outcomes.

This is a hybrid position based primarily in Auckland's Tāmaki Makaurau office, with flexibility to operate from any EY office across New Zealand. There is openness to flexible working arrangements including reduced hours—please discuss your specific needs with the team.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with Chief Finance Officers, finance teams, and wider business stakeholders to build lasting value, trust, and confidence within their organizations.

Qualifications and Skills

• Possess at least six years of relevant professional experience.
• Hold a Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent professional credential.
• Have a degree in accounting or a related academic discipline.
• Exhibit strong leadership and project management capabilities, with a track record of delivering results under pressure.
• Demonstrate understanding of transaction processes such as business acquisitions and disposals and their operational impact on finance functions.
• An eagerness to learn, positive attitude, and readiness to develop further are highly valued.
