Job description
Role Overview
We are looking for a seasoned Manager in Events to spearhead the planning and execution of a range of prestigious internal and external events. The successful candidate will create engaging event experiences that advance company goals, deepen stakeholder engagement, and bolster the organization's brand both domestically and internationally.
Key Duties
- Formulate and maintain an annual schedule of events that aligns with business priorities and engagement targets.
- Direct all aspects of event organization including conferences, exhibitions, forums, roadshows, executive meetings, activations, and stakeholder events from inception through completion.
- Handle event logistics, budgeting, on-site management, and follow-up assessments.
- Coordinate with vendors, agencies, venues, production teams, and manage travel and accommodation logistics.
- Collaborate closely with various internal teams to ensure event objectives, messaging, and attendee experiences are unified and coherent.
- Supervise event branding elements, creative designs, exhibition setups, and activations to guarantee superior quality and consistency.
- Manage resources, timelines, and finances efficiently while upholding execution standards.
- Develop and sustain strategic partnerships, sponsors, and external stakeholder relations.
- Continuously seek innovative approaches to improve event delivery methodologies and outcomes.
Candidate Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or an aligned discipline.
- At least eight years of extensive experience in event management, specifically with large-scale corporate, governmental, or international gatherings.
- Demonstrated ability in managing conferences, exhibitions, high-level executive events, and stakeholder engagements.
- Strong skills in project and budget management.
- Experience liaising with senior leaders, government agencies, partners, and external contractors.
- Capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.
- Willingness to travel when necessary to support event execution.
