Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement innovative communication strategies to highlight the organization's expertise and assets, preserving the brand reputation and energizing campaigns within the Middle East Office.
- Lead the management of major events such as flagship conferences, roundtables, and partner dinners, handling sponsorships and guest speakers.
- Collaborate with client activation teams to support specialized practice events, manage event vendors as required, and work alongside Digital Leads for post-event promotion.
- Ensure the consistent integration of firm-wide themes into all branding and messaging to deliver a unified and effective narrative.
- Oversee the creation of high-quality, clear, and compelling written content across multiple languages as suited to the audience, ensuring exceptional standards in communication.
- Proactively manage reputational risks by analyzing strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats; anticipate and address issues to protect the organization's image.
- Conduct strategic research to prioritize and guide communication campaigns and events using insights such as competitor analyses and speaker vetting.
- Maintain consistent and impactful branding across channels that align with the company's strategic goals and resonate with target audiences.
- Set communication objectives and strategies, promoting key priorities through existing channels and ensuring stakeholder alignment.
- Manage the creation and distribution of both external and internal communications, including websites and publications.
- Develop programs to enhance reputation through a blend of media relations monitoring, public relations, and targeted content dissemination.
- Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships with internal and external stakeholders including media and industry leaders.
- Advise partners on creating networking opportunities to strengthen relationships with clients, prospects, and media representatives.
- Lead the communications team by recruiting, coaching, and evaluating their performance, fostering an agile and inclusive work environment.
- Develop measurement frameworks and collect data to assess the impact of communications activities; apply insights to improve outcomes across marketing channels.
- Support the professional growth of team members, encouraging innovative and performance-focused mindsets while ensuring inclusive collaboration.
- Manage contact databases to maximize engagement and tailor outreach strategies using audience insights.
- Champion the organization's Marketing Mindsets, ensuring team proficiency and applying these tools to elevate results.
Team Context
You will join the Reach and Engagement communications group, which crafts and delivers targeted messaging to diverse audiences, strengthening relationships from clients to alumni. Partnering with senior leadership, you will create and execute best-in-class global communication programs, events, and publications that drive client engagement and support strategic priorities.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required.
- Minimum of 8 years in business communications, ideally within professional services, corporate communications, government, or agency settings.
- Proven ability to develop and manage complex integrated communication programs.
- Experience in budgeting, scheduling, and timeline management to ensure project success.
- Comprehensive expertise across communication disciplines including external/internal communications, media relations, executive communications, and event planning.
- Skilled at juggling competing priorities and coordination within fast-paced, dynamic, and ambiguous environments.
- Strong interpersonal skills with credibility and confidence in advising senior stakeholders and partners.
- Exceptional organizational acumen, attention to detail, and commitment to timely, accurate execution.
- Excellent judgement regarding reputational risks and the ability to proactively counsel stakeholders to balance objectives with risk mitigation.
- Leadership that fosters psychological safety, inclusion, collaboration, innovation, and high performance among junior colleagues.
- Outstanding communication proficiency across formats (writing, editing, storytelling, presentation, and digital content) tailored to diverse audience needs and aligned with strategic aims.
- Fluent spoken and written English skills are essential.
