Management Information Systems Specialist

Job Opportunity in Middle East Oil & Gas Sector

We are looking for an experienced Information Management Systems Specialist to join a prominent oil and gas company in the Middle East. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of expertise in information management, tag management, and system handover, particularly within Oil & Gas, EPC, or construction industries.

Key Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Engineering or Computer Science.
• Proficiency in Tag Management Systems with strong skills in data validation, ensuring data integrity, and managing project handovers.
• Working knowledge of SPF, Bentley, AVEVA, SAP, D2 Documentum, and Power BI platforms.
• Familiarity with CFIHOS standards and Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS).

Experience & Skills

• Demonstrated experience handling large-scale oil and gas projects with complex tagging needs.
• Thorough understanding of EPC data management, quality assurance and control (QA/QC), equipment numbering, taxonomy, and maintaining asset registry accuracy.
• Excellent skills in coordination, communication, analytical thinking, and stakeholder management.
• Fluent in both written and spoken English.
