Job description
About the Role
We are seeking experienced Material QA/QC Inspectors for a long-term contract position based in Qatar. The role involves performing comprehensive material inspection and quality assurance/quality control activities in alignment with the client's standards and industry best practices.
Qualifications and Certifications
- Degree or Diploma in Mechanical or Metallurgical Engineering required.
- Possession of a valid CSWIP 3.1 Welding Inspector or AWS-CWI certificate obtained at least five years ago is mandatory.
- NDT Level II certification is necessary.
Experience
- Applicants with a degree should have a minimum of 8 years of total experience, which must include at least 5 years as a QA/QC Inspector specializing in Material Inspection.
- Diploma holders must have at least 12 years of total experience, with a minimum of 5 years specifically in QA/QC Material Inspection roles.
Preferred Additional Certifications and Experience
- Certification or experience in BGAS-CSWIP Painting Inspector Grade 1 or 2 is advantageous.
- NACE Level 1 or 2 certifications are preferred but not compulsory.
