This role offers a hybrid work setup with four days onsite and one day remote work weekly.

Job Responsibilities

• Compile and analyse monthly management reports ensuring they are accurate and submitted on time.
• Develop and update budgets and financial forecasts to aid effective financial planning.
• Track financial performance and conduct variance analysis to provide actionable business insights.
• Contribute to cost control efforts and improve operational efficiencies throughout the organisation.
• Support decision-making processes with comprehensive financial analyses and recommendations.
• Work in partnership with stakeholders to enhance financial reporting systems and procedures.
• Maintain compliance with relevant accounting standards and company policies.
• Deliver financial analyses as needed to support strategic projects and initiatives.

Candidate Requirements

• Hold a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Possess professional accounting certification such as CPA or CA.
• Demonstrate dependable technical accounting expertise.
• Experienced in analysing complex financial data and summarizing insights clearly.
• Exhibit strong attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
• Effective communication skills with an ability to work collaboratively.
• Committed to upholding high standards of accuracy and ethical integrity.

Compensation and Benefits

• Salary range of $125,000 to $135,000 per annum, plus superannuation, commensurate with experience.
• Permanent full-time employment.
• Location based at Port Melbourne.
