Regulatory Reporting Assistant Vice President

About the Role

This role involves managing regulatory reporting and control processes within a global Capital Markets and Corporate Lending bank based in Dublin. The successful candidate will primarily focus on maintaining and improving control frameworks, ensuring accurate data flow compliance with evolving regulatory rules, and managing reporting requirements including COREP, FINREP, and statistical returns.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review a variety of regulatory reports, ensuring compliance with applicable standards and accuracy in COREP, FINREP/statistical, and control reports.
• Develop and enhance control frameworks to effectively reduce risks during the reporting process.
• Engage with cross-functional teams to respond to regulatory changes and requirements.
• Analyze financial data to support timely regulatory submissions and align with business goals.
• Stay current with regulatory guidelines and industry best practices to maintain compliance.
• Recommend and implement improvements to reporting procedures to increase efficiency.
• Assist in audits and regulatory examinations by providing necessary documentation and insights.
• Contribute to the formulation of policies and procedures related to regulatory reporting and controls.

Candidate Profile

• Solid experience in regulatory reporting with emphasis on control processes, ideally within medium to large banks, especially in capital markets.
• Comprehensive knowledge of regulatory reporting frameworks including COREP and FINREP.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Familiarity with compliance and risk management systems.
• Detail-focused and capable of handling multiple priorities efficiently.
• Excellent communicator adept at working collaboratively across teams.
• Relevant professional qualifications in accounting or finance are required.

Additional Information

This position follows a hybrid work model requiring presence in the office three days per week in Dublin City Centre. The role is categorized at Senior AVP or early Vice President equivalent levels.
