About the Company

The Role
This position goes beyond standard month-end accounting duties. As a Management Accountant, you will handle essential tasks like management accounts, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting while also engaging in project reporting across a wide portfolio of development activities. You will collaborate closely with project managers and operational leaders to ensure financial alignment and progress of projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Compile monthly management accounts and comprehensive financial reporting packages.
- Lead the budgeting and forecasting cycles effectively.
- Create financial models and performance reports to aid decision-making.
- Generate detailed project reports including budgets, forecasts, cost monitoring, cash flow, and variance analysis.
- Provide project managers with precise and prompt financial data.
- Track business performance relative to budgets and objectives.
- Develop dashboards for KPIs and enhance management reporting.
- Optimize reporting processes, systems, and ensure solid financial controls.
- Assist with year-end procedures and audit activities.
Required Skills and Experience
- CA or CPA qualification (or equivalent) with relevant tertiary education.
- Demonstrated strong experience in management accounting roles.
- Advanced skills in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Preferred experience in project reporting, project accounting, construction, infrastructure, property development, or similar project-driven sectors.
- Proficient with advanced Excel functionalities.
- Financial modelling abilities are advantageous but not mandatory.
- A strong commitment to accuracy, analytical thinking, and ongoing process improvement.
