Mall General Manager

Role Summary

Take charge of comprehensive operations, financial management, tenant coordination, and customer service enhancement for a premier shopping center located in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. This leadership role emphasizes maximizing revenue, operational efficiency, and elevating visitor satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the entire profit and loss statement, oversee yearly budgeting, optimize operational expenditures, and drive net operating income growth.
• Maintain effective relationships with a diverse group of tenants including retail, food and beverage, and anchor stores; ensure lease obligations are met, rent is collected timely, and occupancy rates remain high.
• Supervise maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, coordinate housekeeping efforts, control crowd management, and implement health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Collaborate with marketing teams to orchestrate promotional events and campaigns aimed at increasing visitor numbers.
• Ensure exceptional service standards are upheld throughout public areas such as amenities, common spaces, and parking facilities.
• Comply rigorously with applicable Saudi municipal laws, Baladiyah directives, civil defense mandates, and other local commercial regulations.
• Lead and manage cross-departmental staff, including department heads and external contractors.

Candidate Profile

• Possess a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, Marketing, Engineering, or related disciplines.
• Bring over 15 years of experience in retail or property management, particularly overseeing large shopping malls with hundreds of tenants.
• Demonstrate proficiency in both Arabic and English languages, including written and spoken skills.
