Maintenance Worker

About the Role

We are seeking a diligent and dependable maintenance technician to join our expanding team. The successful candidate will ensure our facilities and equipment remain in excellent working condition by performing regular inspections, routine maintenance, and initiating preventative measures to enhance equipment lifespan and reduce safety hazards.

Responsibilities

• Examine the building structure for damage to windows, doors, and walls and carry out necessary repairs.
• Handle assigned additional maintenance requests.
• Perform routine upkeep and repairs on HVAC systems, plumbing fixtures, and electrical wiring to maintain efficient operation.
• Design and implement preventive maintenance plans to reduce safety risks and maintain equipment performance.
• Maintain detailed records of repairs performed and the servicing schedule of equipment.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Proven knowledge of heating, air conditioning (HVAC) units, plumbing systems, and electrical systems.
• Strong work ethic complemented by effective communication, time management, and attention to detail.
• Willingness to be on call and respond to maintenance needs during nights and weekends.
• Advanced understanding of maintenance tools, procedures, and best practices.
• High school diploma, GED, or an equivalent qualification.

Additional Information

This is a part-time onsite position based in Warner Robins, GA. Compensation ranges from $17 to $19 per hour depending on experience and qualifications.
